1. What this document covers

This Policy explains what personal data TRENDAY collects, what we use it for, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it, in accordance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018) for our users in Brazil.

2. Data we collect

• Sign-up: email, password (stored encrypted), date of birth.
• Profile: display name, username, country, city, language, style/brand preferences.
• Photos: body photo and, optionally, face photo (used to generate your AI looks), photos of your clothes.
• Published content: posts, captions, comments, likes, saved looks (Pins).
• Location: country/city you provide, or approximate GPS coordinates (with your permission) used to suggest looks based on local weather.
• Usage data: in-app interactions (likes, searches, looks generated), used to improve style suggestions.
• Payment data (when credit purchases are available): processed directly by Stripe — TRENDAY does not store card numbers.

3. How we use your data

• Generate your personalized looks through an artificial intelligence provider;
• Display your profile and posts to other users, according to your privacy settings;
• Suggest looks based on weather and location;
• Learn your style preferences (for example, through Style Battle) to improve future suggestions;
• Send account verification and password reset emails;
• Moderate content, and check the minimum age of 18 — accounts of people under 18 are restricted;
• Process reports and blocks between users;
• Process payments, where that feature is available.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share only what's necessary with:

• AI image generation provider (processes your photos to generate the look, does not use them for other purposes);
• Stripe (payment processing, where available);
• Email provider (sending transactional emails such as verification codes);
• Hosting provider (where the app and database run);
• Other users, only what you choose to make visible (public posts, profile).

5. Legal basis (LGPD art. 7)

We process your data based on your consent (e.g. face photo, GPS location — both optional), the performance of the contract these Terms represent (e.g. generating your looks, displaying your profile), and our legitimate interest in keeping the platform safe (e.g. content moderation, abuse prevention).

6. How long we keep your data

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal data, except what we are legally required to keep (for example, financial records).

7. Security

Your password is stored encrypted. We use secure connections (HTTPS) throughout the app. No system is 100% immune to failures — if we identify a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you as required by the LGPD.

8. Your rights (LGPD art. 18)

You have the right to:

• Confirm whether we process your data, and access it;
• Correct incomplete, outdated, or incorrect data (most can be edited directly in Settings);
• Request anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary data;
• Request the portability of your data;
• Withdraw your consent at any time (for example, removing your face photo or disabling location);
• Know who we share your data with;
• Delete your account and its associated data.

9. Minors' data

TRENDAY is only for people aged 18 or older. We ask for the date of birth before the app can be used. When it shows that someone is under 18, the account is restricted and its content is no longer shown to others; its data is kept for review, not deleted automatically. The person can request a review if the date was recorded incorrectly. If you are a parent/guardian and believe a minor has created an account, contact us so we can handle it.

10. Cookies and local storage

We use browser local storage (localStorage) to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (such as language). We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated in the app before they take effect.
